North Texas Meter was established in 1978. It has been in Operation for th epast twenty years under the management of Larry McEvers. Larry received his training through various measurement schools as a previous employee of Peoples Natural Gas.

Mike McEvers, currently manages the daily operations of North Texas Meter Service. He has been with the company for the past twelve years. His prior experience with North Texas Meter Service includes all facets of natural gas measurement.

Our company services include natural gas meter repairs, field testing, leak surveys, and sale of McCrometer water meters, regulators and remanufactured meters. Our testers are certified every six months and checked on a daily basis. Additional contract based services include meter reading, cathodic protection, field testing, and odorization. Documentation of the services are provided for governing authorities.

In 1997 North Texas Meter serviced 850 miles of natural gas lines and metering, as well as providing corrosion conmtrol, leak surveying, loss and unaccounted for gas reporting, field testing, and line installation.

Our employees are certified in poly pipe and PVC pipe installation. All employees are subject to drug and alcohol policies in compliance with D.O.T. and the Texas Railroad Commission regulations.
